Eggshell's Daniel Holter and Mike Standal share a passion for melody and lyric that has transformed them from a successful commercial production team into a prolific songwriting duo.

As founding members of The Burst Collective, Holter and Standal have their music heard in award-winning television programs (the O.C., CSI, Friends, Will & Grace, Monday Night Football, NBA Finals, Alias, Law & Order, Dateline, America's Most Wanted, West Wing), advertising (GM, Microsoft, BMW, Gatorade, Renault Italy), and on networks worldwide (HBO, NBC, ABC, CBS, NFL Films, BBC, SAT1). In addition to having their award-winning song She Says included in the recently released DVD Felicity : Senior Year Collection, Emma Roberts' debut on Columbia Records (Sept. 27) will feature their brand new song I Wanna Be as the first track on the disc, the first radio single, and as the promotional music for Emma's Nickelodeon show Unfabulous this fall (Emma is Julia Roberts niece). On Life Is What You Take It, performing as Eggshell, they bare their hearts in modern pop arrangements touching on love, heartbreak and matters of the soul.
